How to Upgrade i600 to WM6 without some hacks???

i heard you could go to the samsung service centers and upgrade it?
but for a pay?

here in singapore, u have to go to the service centre and the upgrade is free.are you sure they are charging you for that ?

ill check this office tomorrow..in cebu, they will charge u for everything...bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

can somebody just upload the firmware so that we can do it on our own?

by the way, my version is i600DXGD1, the one available at samsung mobile site is an upgrade for i600XXGD1, which is i600XXGD2 or something updater......i tried googling for DXGD1 upgrade but to no avail.


did anyone tried to update the DXGD1 with the XXGD* version? coz this unit is all i got, i cant afford to *brick* it.

so then if anyone has tried or can direct me to the right direction about the procedure and consequences of using updater XXGD1 on a DXGD1 unit, please PM me...thanks..

The way I understand it is you will have to downgrade/convert it to the specific version first before you can upgrade it...
