ang iniintay ko talagang gadget ay yung pda-like and pda-sized device pero mga 100gb ang capacity and runs on windows para i can install photoshop and ftp programs. it should also have wifi, bluetooth, infrared, and slots for cf and sd cards. ok rin ang integrated phone at hsdpa capable.

the closest i can think of is the dopod but limited pa rin hehehe.

I think that's a specifications of a UMPC (Ultra Mobile PCs). Parang cross-breed of a PPC and a Tablet PC.

this is an old thread, so this is just an update to the topic. Smile

I've worked with this b'code scanner. It is commonly refer to as a" wearable " Running only WinCE5. Wifi support. The laser scanner is attached to the finger freeing up both hands for more efficiency.

Major drawback, hindi sya touch screen. Hard to navigate with. I had to used a screen capture utility via active sync to control the device via my desktop.. see. Microsoft powertoy..

The device is commonly used to interface with Virtual Terminal Emulation
via WIFI. It is also used to in conjuction with RFID systems which further enhances mobility..

It reminds of those old sci-fi movies. I think the Fossil version is better than this one. Maybe this is one is not really intended to be a wristwatch type of PDA. The ergonomics suggests that this device is used for special purpose. Maybe in the hospital for scanning patients identification.

Interesting... I wonder if there is a Windows Mobile version of this one. If I'm not mistaken, Symbol normally makes several versions... one in CE and another with WindowsMobile...

Oh.. it's got a Backlit color TFT, but no touch screen... Sad
Confused
