The iPhone and Asus eee are really getting to some peopleís nerves these days Very Happy

Digitimes has reported that HTC is looking to improve itís UMPC (or maybe MID) status because of the ASUS eeeís domination right now. Theyíre also planning launch 10 (yes, only 10) more handsets later this year (including upgrades(?)/new models of their Touch line).

I canít and wonít speak for the others but I know what I want - lots of features at a cheap price (for umpc/mid and handset). Am I asking too much? Iím just hoping HTC gives a ratís a$$ on what I want Ö

In a totally unrelated news, I sold my XPíd eee 701 last weekend. Reason Ė Ubuntu Hardy Heron and Acer Aspire One but the WM phones are not going anywhere, yet (at least not in the 1st half of this year) Ö Very Happy

HTC should design a good umpc, mid or even nettop (eeepc, etc).

A price competitive nettop will be good. I saw a review of VIA's Openbook and it looks impressive. Everything can be customized, it can have wimax, hsdpa, etc. I hope HTC can create one.

A good MID based on Qualcomm's Snap Dragon will be good too.
