I saw it in Greenhills. So... how much does it retail for?

The SRP is Php 34,777. Greenhills price, as you well know, may vary.
But beware of gray market units. To ensure that the units are from the proper HTC distribution channel, please visit the resellers stated on the brochure.

At 34k it's still steep. I wonder if there will be any other makes which will be about half the price.

At 34k I would expect it to do more than my WM6.5 device.

if one does a bit of checking, they'll see that some shops/sellers actually sell lower than this..they even advertise online stating that the warranty is official

I don't think it's just the credit card. Has anyone checked if items for purchase actually goes to the cart and can be checked out?

I saw an HTC HD7 for sale for (store not stall) 28,000.00 the lady did not know if it's possible to purchase apps.

Was not allowed to turn on to test.

I saw a post on ppcthoughts that shows 0 services available for the PHL (article is based on this website)

Quote:
There are also a series of countries where Windows Phone 7 is apparently available in stores (and advertised on Microsoft's websites for those countries) where they apparently do not have access to any services, not even the ability to browse, buy or install free or paid third party apps, which is very disturbing. These countries include:

<snip>
Malaysia
Norway
Philippines
<snip>
Taiwan

I called SMART (official partner) & got the pls keep on checking our website response when I asked about WP7.

it pains me to say this but it looks like the Microsoft has turned it's back on us WM enthusiasts... Sad

I just availed of SMART's retention package and I saw in their packages that they are already including WP7 as one of their offerings for both new subscriptions and retention packages.

It pains me that Microsoft killed Windows Mobile. Looks like they got the Zune people to work on the phone...

It's like getting a toilet manufacturer to build a luxury car.

Oh well, they will just have to learn the ropes again... so after Windows Mobile and the Pocket PC beat Palm to the ground they killed their prized fighter. Now their back training a novice.
