A few peculiar things I noticed about the XPERIA. First, there is no secondary camera for video calls, I find that unusual given the fact that its an HSDPA/HSUPA phone. I also noticed that none of the screens on the phone shows any familiar built in WM application like contacts, calendar, or media player which makes me wonder if they skinned that too.

Too many things to speculate on right now. I just hope that the final product will live up to the hype.

Well, well, well... the plot thickens. Looks like our old friend HTC is behind the XPERIA design. I suppose this WILL have graphics acceleration drivers built in because it is touted as a "Multimedia Device". I guess this is what HTC meant when they referred to a "future device" which will have the necessary video drivers.

according to the specs, they're going to use MicroSD and a mini USB port. i find that hard to believe because Sony products use their own proprietary accessories. but if HTC is manufacturing this SE phone, then chances are they may really use MicroSD as their choice of an expansion slot.

HTC still owns the Windows Mobile realm.
They need competition to lower their price & improve quality based on customers' demands.
