Hi guys,

are you guys familiar with the onslaught of cheap china phones in the market?

Well anyway, before the NTC tightened up and started confiscating them, I got to find one in 168 mall which had a windows logo on it.

For like 9k brand new, the seller told me it was a Windows Based phone. I couldn't test it as it had no batteries, but its exterior buttons did correspond to a windows device.

Have you guys seen anything similar?

If thats one of the Chinaphone with TV features or dual sim, my guess is The Windows based thing is just for cover. I had a unit last month which I sold after only 7 days at half the price. The welcome screen is Windows Mobile but the OS /ROM is not.

With the exception of myphone, These Chinaphones have quality issues and repair is remotely possible since there are no available spare parts.

Is that the one you got sgt. shultz? It cant play WMA? It should if its a real Windows Mobile Device. I wouldnt be surprised if there are windows look-alike though. I saw the pic... It looks like a handsome phone Smile

If its a real WM device, does it run on WM5 or WM6? Do you have the model number? I'ld like to look it up among suppliers of such devices. Im trying to find one, thanks.

Hi Sgt. Shultz,

did you order your phone from Hong Kong/China, or was it a local ebay seller that you bought it from. If it came from abroad, did you have problems with customs and shipping. how long did it take for you to receive the item.

Aside from your v-111, ive been looking at the t-68 hitunes phone which is another china wm5 device. It has a nicer keypad configuration Smile but the seller is also from China...
