Yes! You heard it right!

This dual-SIM Windows Mobile 6.1 device with built-in GPS receiver will finally make it to the Philippines officially afterall. Watch out for more news on the device and how it works.

The dual-SIM functionality is really a useful wonder. You will always have both phones with you and you can share all your contacts with any SIM. You can choose which SIM to use when calling or when sending out SMS.

Hmmm... Looks like you need a triple SIM phone there. But yeah a dual SIM phone that runs on Windows Mobile is a definite winner.

Additional Info para magkaroon kayo ng idea gaano kabigat mga phones na lagi kong dala. For my postpaid SMART - XDA Atom Life, Globe - HTC P3400i, SUN - XDA 2s.

I heard GLOFIISH was already acquired by ACER.

This is great news!

With WiFi, Java, 3G and TouchFlo na kaya ito, sir?

Any price indicator, sir, so I can start saving for this one?

Wow!!!

Just compared it with HTC HD, except for the Dual SIM feature, HTC HD still is far far away !!!

Which retailers will the DX900 be available?
So far I have only found one at Xsite Mobile in MegaMall for 29990.

Also does anyone here have experience with Glofiish GPS?
I think all Glofiish have the same GPS, the SIRF.
Does it work well in locations like downtown Manila amongst tall buildings?

Thanks

anyone like to give a review on this phone?

went to Megamall yesterday and Xsite is offering 29,900 with 12 months to pay

heard Premium Logic also selling for 29,900

it looks nice!

found a review over the net http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fsmartmania.cz%2Findex.php%3Find%3Dnews%26op%3Dnews_show_single%26ide%3D1092+&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sl=cs&tl=en

some questions pops up:
1. how do I use this to text using PC? can I choose SIM2 to send out?

2. can I use speed dial program to SIM2 number?

3. battery life?

It depends on which SIM you choose as the default phone.

You can have SIM 2 as your default and SIM 1 as your second phone.

Battery life is about a day and a half depending on how good the signal is. If you have UMTS on and it keeps on searching for a signal and it can't find one, battery life is greatly impacted.

SIM1 is good for UMTS and GSM, SIM2 is GSM only.

Just wanted to thank you guys for posting this thread. I use to have a MYPHONE T13 and use to put my Cingular Sim and Globe Sim in it, only to find out a friend who had the same phone had trouble using it in the states, let alone the email function on the T22.

My husband is the boxing champion Nonito Donaire and was sick of me investing in useless phones. So for two days I searched on the internet for a best dual sim phone. Finally when I found the DX900, it was such a hassel to even locate one--at least ones on the net not trying to scam with Western Union and stuff.

So I finally came across this forum two more days later that stated that Megamall had one. I immediately called and Francis and Jason at Xcite set one aside for me. Since my husband is training for his fight in Baguio, I had to drive all the way down just to pick up the phone.

I did not sleep for 24 hours playing with the phone. The functionality and capabilities are underpriced for the P28000 I paid. I've paid about this price in the states for a windows 5.0 mobile phone only single sim without gps function and only triband. I loved it so much I bought Nonito one for Valentines.

If you guys have any questions about uses, Ill be glad to share my experience with it.

Thanks so much

Hi Rachel! Nice to see you here at PWM.

The phone indeed is full of nice features. The dual SIM capability and the integrated inbox and contacts just makes it much easier to use.

With Microsoft's new service called Live Mesh, you can upload images shot with its camera and synchronize it with your online storage space from Live.com and also synchronize it with your PC if you've set it to do so... all via the Internet.

I'm glad you're enjoying the features of Windows Mobile and one of the new phones that not only offer dual-SIM capabilities but GPS navigation as well.
