New here. Laughing The first thing I installed on my device is TouchPal. Find it hard to type using default touchscreen keyboard and transcriber is a worthless piece of software. My ipaq rw6828 has no built-in keyboard so I really need a better keyboard. My patent yata TouchPal on the way they change touchscree text enrty. Try it out for yourself and it will blow you away. That's a nice alternative to entering text. One of the things about WM devices is that there are so many variations or styles of text entry applications, you just have to find one that works for you.

I guess it's working well for you... if you do want to expeiment, you can also check others like TenGO which has a thumb entry version of their famous TenGO SIP for the Pocket PC.

I've also been trying out Touchpal for the last couple of months and I'm starting to get the hang of it although I think it works best with the likes of the HTC Touch whose screens aren't recessed.

My other must have's:
- Pocket Informant - got the 2007 version free from Mobihand
- WorldMate Pro - the free version's great, with currency converters and all
- Spb Finance
- Spb Diary - works great with PI and Finance
- Ilium Software eWallet Professional
- Ilium Software ListPro
- TCPMP
- PHM Registry Editor

One last thing... can anybody suggest a good registry cleaner for WM Smartphone? Cleaning up my i600 is becoming a pain.

i only have a couple of apps installed in my ppc (newbie here).

1. devstate,
2. home expense
3. tcpmp together with flash video bundle (for youtube)
4. mobipocket reader
5. sms notifier
6. sms scheduler
7. quickclear
8. agendus pro
9. flashplayer

im still looking for an alternative finance app. spb i think is a bit complicated rather to advance. i need something simple but with moderate features.

does anyone here have magicall? if so, do you mind if i copy it?
thank you for your time.

there's plenty of good freeware around. for financial, you could try expense diary or budget diary. they're free, i think.

pls check Splashmoney for windows mobile by Splashdata. This is much simplier that SPB finance. Been using it in my Palm pda but now readily available for WM devices . I have selected this over Spb Finance and pocket quicken as well due to its simplicity. You can crossgrade this as well at minimal fee if you been using it in the other platform like Palm. Very Happy

hi guys, got a question. is there a program wherein it shows you that you have a new message, email and missed call? same as that with HTC home but without the clock and other plugins, just those three coz I like my PPC simple. Thanks a lot .[/img]
